For some reason, the smileys in the chart didn’t change when WordPress made the new smileys. The newer smileys are at the below the old ones, same format.

Beth told me a way to do the symbols on the laptop. Here’s how=
1. Do you see the numbers below the letters on the middle right?
2. Click on NUMLOCK on the top.
3. Try to do CTRL + ALT + (the number on the middle right) or just CTRL + (the number on the middle right) or ALT + (the number on the middle right) or ALT + CTRL + (the number on the middle right)
It didn’t work for me, but I think it works for other people.
Note from Beth: It depends on your laptop. Each laptop has different characteristics. Some, you have to push Fn and Alt at the same time, then the number, while Num Lock is on. There are many ways, and they are all very confusing. Yet, some computers (even desktops!) don’t let you do the symbols at all. Like Sabrina’s computer.
Update from Animalluver: Here’s another way how to do the heart symbols and everything else. I don’t know if it works on Mac. It doesn’t work on Mac. Thanks Bluew Druew!
1. Click Start (located on the bottom left for Microsoft People)
2. Click All Programs
3. Hover your mouse over Accessories
4. Hover your mouse over System Tools
5. Click on Character Map
6. Tada! Look for the symbol you want. Click Select, then Copy. Paste it anywhere!!!
Here’s my shorter way of making the heart (♥). You just hold on to “alt”, then press 3 ONCE, then let go of “alt”. ♥♥♥♥♥

I found out a way to find all those ♥ ♠ ♦ ♣ character thingies.
If you want to know the code for all those characters, what you do is click “start”
(bottom left), click “run”, and type “charmap”. It’ll give like a billion character things
that you can copy.
